Jurupa Valley’s history with PRCA rodeo at the Rick Thompson Arena is long and proud. The community’s first sanctioned PRCA rodeo was held in the same location in the early 70’s and was brought together by the West Riverside County Businessmen’s Association. The non-profit Jurupa Valley Community Pro Rodeo Committee continues on in their footsteps, promoting and supporting equestrian groups, youth and senior programs, and working together to continue the livestock and rodeo history of Jurupa Valley.
